“The Whole set was a white box, like a padded cell, and every so often microflashes of intense light left you questioning whether it had happened at all. To find a way of matching the light of Ned Bennet’s own vision for the play, but having it so strikingly suited to the play in a contemporary way was very exciting. The lighting brought out things in the play that made it seem completely contemporary and completely cutting edge.”
